A: Our price covers pick-up and drop-off, transport to the place of the walk, and a clean-up if your dog gets dirty during the walk. Water is always available, and treats are provided for training and enrichment—please let us know if your dog has any allergies.

Q: My dog has health issues—can they still join?

A: It depends on your dog’s condition. Our walking sessions are ideal for dogs with joint, heart, or breathing issues, as they can go at their own pace and choose whether to join activities or simply explore and sniff around.

Q: My dog is in heat – can they still join?

A: Dogs in heat cannot join group walks. During this time, they may be more irritable or stressed, and their scent can overstimulate other dogs, increasing the risk of conflict. Alternative arrangements should be made until the cycle ends (usually around 21 days).

Q: Do you have any age restrictions?

A: As long as your dog has completed its first set of vaccinations and has the all clear from the vets to start exploring we can accept dogs from 14 weeks old. There’s no upper age limit.

Q: My dog is nervous or anxious—can they join?

A: It depends on your dog and the group. Many nervous dogs grow in confidence and even make friends when placed in a calm, polite group. Our walking sessions can be ideal, with close supervision and an understanding of dog body language. Every dog is assessed before joining, so we’re always happy to give it a try and see if it’s a good fit.

Q: How do you keep dogs safe during sessions?

A: Safety is our top priority. Dogs are always closely supervised and carefully grouped. If a dog becomes overexcited, we may guide them through calming exercises (like short breaks or gentle focus games) or temporarily pop them on a lead until they settle. We also carry water, waste bags, and a canine first aid kit at all times.

Q: What happens in bad weather?

A: As long as we can safely walk your dog we will. In extreme weather, we may shorten sessions or, if safety warnings are in place, cancel altogether. If that happens and you won’t be home, we’ll try to replace the walks for home visits and toilet breaks.

Q: How do I book?

A: Contact us by email or message on Whatsapp to arrange an assessment. If your dog is suitable, we’ll then go ahead with your bookings.

Q: What time can I expect my dog to be picked up/dropped off?

A: Exact times can vary depending on the day’s route and traffic, so we’re unable to give a set schedule. We’ll always ensure your dog is collected and returned safely within the agreed time window. For more details, please see the 90-minute group walks service page.

Q: Do I need to be home when you pick up or drop off my dog?

A: No—Most clients provide us with a key, allowing us to collect and drop off your dog while you’re out. All keys are kept securely and are only labelled with your dog’s name.

Q: Will my dog be left unattended in the vehicle?

A: No. Pick-ups and drop-offs are kept as quick as possible, and we always try to park where we can see the vehicle. Routes are planned to ensure dogs spend the minimum amount of time in the vehicle.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: You can cancel your walk free of charge if you contact us at least 24 hours before the walk is due to take place. If less than 24 hours, a full charge may apply.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel walks?

A: Any cancelled walks will roll over to the following month, so the walks you’ve paid for but didn’t use will be available at no extra cost.

Q: What if sometimes I’ll need a different day of the week?

A: We understand that life plans can change, and we’ll do our best to be flexible. While we prefer dogs to stay with their usual group, we’ll always try to accommodate a different day if needed—provided we have enough space available.
