Terms and Conditions

1. Booking & Eligibility

1.1 Dogs must be booked on a regular weekly slot basis. One-off walks are not accepted.

1.2 Every dog must undergo an initial assessment before joining group walks to ensure suitability, safety, and comfort of all dogs.

1.3 Diggin’dogs club reserves the right to refuse or suspend a dog from walks if they are aggressive, unvaccinated, or display unsuitable behaviour for group sessions.

2. Payments & Cancellations

2.1 Payment must be made in advance or via agreed recurring monthly billing.

2.2 Cancellations require at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations may be charged at the full rate.

2.3 If Diggin’dogs club cancels walks due to weather, illness or emergencies, a full refund or rescheduled walks will be offered.

2.4 Diggin’dogs club reserves the right to adjust fees with notice.

3. Health & Vaccinations

3.1 All dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations, flea/tick treatments, and worming.

3.2 Dogs must be free from contagious illnesses, parasites, or injuries that could endanger themselves or others.

3.3 Owners must notify Diggin’dogs club of any medical conditions, injuries, medications or behavioral issues.

4. Behaviour & Group Policy

4.1 Owners must disclose any behaviour issues, including aggression, anxiety, or fear triggers.

4.2 If a dog repeatedly exhibits unsafe behaviour that will result in removal from group walks.

4.3 Female dogs in season will not be walked. 

5. Collection & Transport

5.1 Dogs will be collected and returned home using our purpose-built doggy van.

5.2 Owners must provide a safe handover point and inform us of any access requirements or hazards.

5.3 Any keys provided by the client will be kept securely and returned on request. 

5.4 Diggin’dogs is not liable for injury, illness, or loss during transportation caused by owner miscommunication, failure to disclose health issues or accidents not due to Diggin’dogs fault.

6. Safety & Supervision

6.1 Diggin’dogs club staff carry water, waste bags, and a canine first aid kit at all times.

6.2 Diggin’dogs club staff are trained in canine first aid.

7. Day Care & Boarding

7.1 Day care and boarding are only available to regular walking dogs.

7.2 Spaces are limited, and priority is given to established clients.

7.3 Owners must provide full feeding instructions, medication details, and emergency contacts.

8. Emergency Procedures

8.1 In case of illness or injury, Diggin’dogs club will seek veterinary care at the nearest available clinic.

8.2 Owners will be contacted immediately and are responsible for veterinary fees.

8.3 Emergency contact details must be provided and kept up to date.

9. Liability

9.1 Diggin’dogs is fully insured and DBS-checked.

9.2 While reasonable care is taken, owners agree that Diggin’dogs club cannot be held liable for injury, illness, or loss beyond our control.

9.3 Owners indemnify Diggin’dogs club against any claims arising from their dog’s behaviour or health issues.

10. Data protection (GDPR)

10.1 Client details will only be used for the purposes of providing pet care services.

10.2 Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent.

11. Amendments & Agreement

11.1 These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically; notice will be given to owners.

11.2 By booking your dog with Diggin’dogs club, you agree to comply with all terms outlined above.
